About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; guides assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; and collaborates with the healthcare team to support optimal outcomes and continuity of care. The role also contributes to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time day-shift position with rotating weekends and 32 hours listed. The stated schedule is “7am-3:30am.”
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- Prior nursing experience, or CNA experience for a new graduate nurse, is preferred.
