Registered Nurse - Medical Stroke Telemetry - Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients on the Medical Stroke Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; guides assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; and collaborates with the healthcare team to support optimal outcomes and continuity of care. The position also contributes to patient safety and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time night-shift position, scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and 32 hours listed. Required travel is not applicable.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- Prior nursing experience, or CNA experience for a new graduate nurse, is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Prior nursing experience, or CNA experience for a new graduate nurse, preferred.
