Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Telemetry/Stroke
About The Position
MidState Medical Center is hiring Registered Nurses for its Medical Telemetry/Stroke Unit. Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices. The hospital provides clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities through its Telemetry/Stroke Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply. MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital offering inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with a wide variety of specialties. Its team cares for patients across the region from birth through the end of life.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

- One year of recent acute-care RN experience is preferred; graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.
