About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Medical Telemetry Stroke Observation Unit in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. The position is scheduled for 36 hours on the night shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is available to qualifying candidates. The role requires a degree or diploma in registered nursing and an active registered nursing license. Students completing an accredited nursing program or in the process of obtaining a registered nursing license may also be considered. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days of hire. Acute care experience is preferred; a BSN or MSN is also preferred. Sentara offers market-competitive compensation, with a full-time hourly base pay range of $41.93 to $61.01. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Pay within the range may vary according to qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Requirements

Degree or diploma in registered nursing.
Registered nursing license.
BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
