The Registered Nurse works in the ICU, a 24-bed Critical Care Unit (ICU and PCU), providing specialized care to critically ill patients who need advanced monitoring, complex treatments, and life-saving interventions. The nurse cares for a diverse patient population with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, neurological conditions, multisystem organ failure, and other complex medical and surgical conditions. The ICU offers opportunities to develop skills in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive and titratable medications, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and advanced life-support interventions. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and works in a fast-paced critical care environment with support from experienced nurses and leaders committed to mentoring, education, and staff development. Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. A premium rate is offered. The role includes opportunities for specialty certifications, advanced critical care training, precepting, professional development, and career growth through the Clinical Ladder Program.
