About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) works in the Intensive Care Unit at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, providing compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients with complex medical needs. Working with a dedicated critical care team, the nurse assesses patient conditions, develops and implements individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, monitors patient responses, and promotes patient comfort and safety. The role calls for clinical judgment and critical care nursing skills in a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

Current state RN license.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred.
ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
Provide care appropriate to each patient's condition and age.
Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
