About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units while demonstrating strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care
Flexibility to float across units as needed
Diploma in Nursing (required)
Active Ohio RN License or Compact License (required)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, and educational needs
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly
Identify and mitigate safety risks for patients and the care environment
Communicate effectively with healthcare teams using structured handoff methods
Develop and prioritize individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Establish measurable patient goals and initiate discharge planning
Participate in shift reports and care planning discussions
Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established protocols
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes
Respond efficiently to emergency situations
Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
Continuously evaluate patient progress and update care plans as necessary
Ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices
