About The Position

This full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is for the Float Pool at AMC Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The work will primarily be in Med/Surge Garden, a 24-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in stroke and oncology patients, and Med Surg I, a 24-bed acute care unit specializing in medical-surgical, orthopedic, surgical, and trauma care. Both units maintain typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 5:1 and nursing assistant ratios of 6-7:1, fostering teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
