About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care. The role includes interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, patient and family education for post-hospitalization, and helping patients access community resources. The RN may also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse when appropriately certified.
Requirements
- Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the hospital is located, or a compact license if the state participates.
- Hold current BLS certification.
- Provide evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
