Registered Nurse - FT - Nights - Neuro/Pulmonary
About The Position
The registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. This position is with Methodist Southwest Medical Center, a 314-bed, full-service acute care teaching hospital serving southwestern Dallas County. The hospital offers a range of specialized services and has received recognition for clinical excellence and workplace distinctions.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by the department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- At least 12 months of RN experience.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
