About The Position

Responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing nursing care to assigned patients in the assigned nursing unit. The Registered Nurse uses the Nursing process in providing patient care, communicates with members of the health care team to establish and meet patient goals in a timely manner, and participates in quality improvement activities. The role includes responsibility for professional growth and excellent customer service while supporting patients’ and family members’ physical and emotional needs. The position is casual and non-exempt.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• Healthcare Provider CPR.
• Act 33/73 clearances.
• Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy.
• Clinical rotation through an educational program.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Previous experience working in an acute care facility.
• Basic arrhythmia experience.
• Telemetry experience.
• ACLS within two years of hire or transfer if taking assignments in critical care or telemetry patient care units.
