Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool- PRN
About The Position
Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Float Pool. The PRN position has a varied schedule with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The nurse works with a collaborative team caring for diverse patient populations and contributing to safe, compassionate, patient-centered care and positive patient outcomes. Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is a 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital serving the Oklahoma City community. It has received Watson Health 15 Top Health Systems recognition, CARF Stroke Specific Accreditation, and Joint Commission National Quality Approval.
Requirements
- Current state or compact state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous Med Surg or rehabilitation experience.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
- Complete timely and appropriate medical-necessity documentation in the medical record.
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Complete timely and accurate QI assessments.
