About The Position

Community Medical Center is hiring a PRN Float Pool Registered Nurse for night shifts. The Adult Float Pool provides support across ICU/PCU, Medical-Surgical, Extended Stay, Emergency Department, and Rehabilitation units. Nurses in this role adapt to changing patient needs and team environments while delivering patient-centered care throughout the hospital. The position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with 12 shifts per 12-week or three-month evaluation period. The schedule includes two weekend shifts and one winter and one summer holiday per year. The role is covered by the collective bargaining agreement for MNA Local #15 Community Medical Center.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS certification required.
• At least 2 years of bedside nursing experience.
• Flexibility, critical-thinking ability, and commitment to excellence.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of inpatient units, adapting quickly to changing patient needs and team environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe and efficient patient care.
• Serve as a resource throughout the hospital.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
