About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Float Pool. The RN works with a collaborative team to provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations and help patients achieve the best possible outcomes. The role is PRN with varied scheduling, with shifts listed as 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• Current state or compact-state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous Med Surg or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
