About The Position

Oviedo Medical Center is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care while floating between several areas across the nursing spectrum. The RN works collaboratively with the care team and advocates for patients and families, protecting privacy and confidentiality. The role includes making nursing assessments and diagnoses, facilitating patient care, and providing plan-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement. No travel is required. The posting describes the position as PRN.

Requirements

Florida RN license and/or an approved multistate RN license; compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days after relocation.
BLS-AHA Provider card within 30 days of starting.
Two years of recent bedside nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

Current ACLS certification is preferred; obtain it within six months of hire.
BSN preferred.
At least one year of ICU or stepdown experience preferred.
