Requirements

Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
Possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license at the time of appointment
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
Ability to perform essential job functions
Pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Responsibilities

Implement nursing care plans through vital sign checks, treatments, medication administration, and restorative techniques
Assist physicians with examinations, chronic care clinics, specialty clinics, and patient education
Provide first aid, CPR, AED use, and refer urgent matters to advanced practitioners or hospitals
Maintain electronic health records, prepare reports, manage controlled substance logs, and ensure timely documentation
Sterilize instruments and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Attend required training and stay informed of policy and procedure updates
