Registered Nurse - Tele Float
About The Position
The Registered Nurse/Tele Float will provide nursing care in a telemetry float role at an onsite location in Worcester, Massachusetts. The position is a three-month contract with 36 hours per week guaranteed, scheduled as three 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. The nurse must work every other weekend and every other holiday, including a major holiday. Telemetry monitoring, Epic proficiency, and the ability to float are required. At orientation, the traveler must pass a medication exam and a telemetry exam; each exam allows one attempt, and failure to pass either exam results in immediate contract cancellation. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and before FDIs.
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN license in hand.
- At least 18 months of acute care experience.
- Epic experience and proficiency with electronic health records.
- Telemetry experience and telemetry monitoring skills.
- Ability to float.
- Flu vaccination; medical or religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.
- Must pass the medication and telemetry exams at orientation; each exam allows one attempt.
