About The Position

The Registered Nurse Triage (RN) – General Surgery provides patient care under the direction of the Supervisor through inbound and outbound telephone practice. The nurse assesses caller needs through active listening and clinical assessment, provides education and uses advanced problem-solving skills, while demonstrating positive customer relationship skills. The role manages patients’ immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties also include continuous glucose monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, and cleaning and stocking exam rooms. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position based at 1948 Three Farms in Naperville, Illinois. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some travel to other locations is required, along with flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Requirements

Current Illinois RN licensure.
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to handle periods of high stress and work as a self-starter.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, climb, and use hands repetitively for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and carry or push up to 20 pounds.
Some travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Nice To Haves

Office RN experience preferred.
BSN preferred.
