About The Position

The Registered Nurse - Central Triage provides patient care through inbound and outbound telephone practice. The nurse assesses caller needs through active listening and clinical assessment, provides education, and uses advanced problem-solving skills to manage patients’ immediate and ongoing needs, with attention to acute and preventive intervention. The role is on-site at Endeavor Health’s Corporate Center in Warrenville, Illinois. Applicants must live in Illinois. After at least one year of employment, nurses may have the opportunity to work remotely if they meet and maintain all quality and productivity metrics. The position is full-time at 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hourly pay range is $35.15–$54.48; the rate offered depends on factors including expertise and years of experience. The employer states that the minimum base hourly rate will be adjusted to $35.15 beginning with the second paycheck in October.

Requirements

Current Illinois RN licensure.
Operational knowledge of physician practice.
Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional telephone etiquette skills.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to self-start and handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations.
Excellent time-management skills.
Basic keyboard, computer, and internet skills.
Typing proficiency of 35 words per minute.
Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.
Must live in Illinois.
