Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport HealthSavannah, GA
Onsite

About The Position

Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role is not a traditional nursing role and offers autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their day by seeing clients and providing the best experience possible, supported by a network of clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where you will develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation. The current opening is in Savannah, GA 31406, is part-time (24 hrs/week), with compensation starting at $43.00/hr. The role involves conducting in-depth travel health consultations, administering vaccines, recommending travel health products, managing clinic operations, and supporting onsite events. Some locations also support immigration-related medical services, requiring civil surgeon exams and USCIS vaccination compliance, with training provided. The scheduling model is census-based, with hours based on client demand and seasonal variations. A schedule offering 6-12 months of consistency is created, but hours are not guaranteed in all markets. Availability within set scheduling windows is required, and flexibility (preferred day/time coverage, weekends, or willingness to cover multiple locations) can increase scheduled hours. Peak travel seasons (February-August) generally bring higher and more stable volume.
