Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport HealthBoston, MA
Hybrid

About The Position

Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role is not a traditional nursing role and offers autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Nurses work independently, supported by clinical leadership, and develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation. The current opening is for part-time employment in Back Bay, MA & Cambridge, MA, requiring 24 hours per week. The role involves conducting travel health consultations, administering vaccines, recommending travel health products, managing clinic operations, and supporting corporate wellness events. A required component for certain states is supporting immigration-related medical services, including civil surgeon exams and USCIS vaccinations, which demands attention to detail and comfort with regulated documentation workflows. The scheduling model is census-based, with hours varying by client demand and season. The provided schedule is Monday (Back Bay), Friday (Cambridge), and Saturday (Back Bay) for 24 hours/week, with 6-12 months of consistency. Flexibility and willingness to cover multiple locations or weekends can increase scheduled hours. Peak travel seasons (February-August) generally bring higher volume, and additional hours may be available on short notice.
