About The Position

Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Tele) for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. This is a temporary travel assignment requiring RN licensure in the state of practice and recent acute or equivalent experience, with EPIC EMR exposure preferred. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising staff, collecting health data, developing and implementing care plans, participating in discharge planning, and collaborating with patients, families, and the care team to promote continuity of care and learning opportunities.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in California (or state of practice) required.
Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CPR acceptable per policy.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required per policy.
EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while applying critical thinking and professional judgment.
Collect relevant health data, analyze assessment information, and develop a plan of care; implement and adjust the plan to attain outcomes; evaluate progress.
Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients, families, and the treatment team; communicate health information clearly.
Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; contribute to a safe, healing, and compassionate care environment.
Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to promote continuity of care and learning opportunities.
