About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a part-time night shift Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills in Rapid City, South Dakota. The hospital has 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long-term acute care beds, combining two levels of specialized care to serve patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic medical conditions. The Registered Nurse Supervisor is responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality patient care and managing and coordinating nursing service activities during the scheduled shift in accordance with the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and policies. The supervisor works with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures for daily operations and provides training, information, and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Requirements

Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing.
Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
Ability to project a professional image.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Critical care experience.
Three years of experience in an acute care setting.
Prior supervisory experience.
CCRN certification.
