About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring per diem Registered Nurses for an on-site, 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025. RNs provide resident care, direct LPNs and CNAs on their unit, and serve as charge nurse when assigned. Nursing leadership is on site. This W-2 hourly role offers shifts selected by the nurse, with no minimum hours. Work may be scheduled on days, evenings, or nights, any day of the week. Standard shifts are eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break; twelve-hour shifts may be available. Nurses may work two shifts a month or twenty, and may keep another primary job or make this role their main job. Pay is $52.00–$58.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate within the range and nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation hours are paid at the nurse's rate. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before its start is paid for four hours; with more notice, the shift is removed from the schedule. Additional offerings include reimbursement for New York license and CPR renewals, support for continuing education and certifications, up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward a BSN, and a $500 referral bonus for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and professional liability insurance covers each shift. Open shifts are listed in the BRIDGE App, which also stores license and certification information and sends expiration reminders. CLFC provides a Program Manager for scheduling and pay questions.
