This W-2 hourly position offers a rate of $52.00 to $58.00 per hour, paid weekly. Experience determines the rate within the range, and night and weekend shifts are paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Per diem nurses choose their availability and select open shifts through the BRIDGE App; there is no minimum number of hours. Shifts are generally eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break, with day, evening, and overnight options. Twelve-hour shifts may be available. The package includes paid orientation, reimbursement for New York license renewal and CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year toward a BSN. A $500 referral bonus is available for referring a nurse or aide. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC professional liability insurance covers each shift.
