Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine

Passport Health•Evergreen Park, IL
•Onsite

About The Position

Passport Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time travel medicine role, based primarily at its Evergreen Park, Illinois clinic, with coverage at nearby Chicago-area clinics. The position is designed for nurses seeking more autonomy and specialized expertise than a high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic setting. Nurses generally manage their day independently, with support from clinical leadership, and provide individualized travel health consultations. The nurse will develop expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. The role also includes immigration medical services at designated clinics: conducting immigration physicals and maintaining USCIS documentation compliance. Training is provided for these services. The position is 32 hours per week at $40.00 per hour. Mondays and Fridays at Evergreen Park are required. Additional shifts depend on clinic demand and may involve other Chicago-area locations. Scheduling is census-based, and hours may vary by location and season; the employer aims to provide schedules with 6–12 months of consistency but notes that hours are not guaranteed in some markets. Peak travel season, typically February through August, generally brings higher and more stable volume.
