About The Position
The Registered Nurse coordinates total patient-centered care to ensure optimal service to the communities served. The role provides an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care, and clinical excellence one patient at a time. The nurse collects comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer’s health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues; identifies expected outcomes for an individualized plan; develops strategies and alternatives to attain those outcomes; implements the plan; and evaluates progress toward the outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; completion of a formal nursing program may be substituted for the degree.
- Registered Nurse credential required.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with physicians and instruct patients and their families.
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and more than 20 pounds constantly.
Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer’s health and/or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan of care.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and instruct patients and their families.
