About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective total nursing care to patients. The RN is responsible for coordinating and integrating patient care based on the nursing process and directs care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards, with the goal of discharging patients after providing an optimum level of care.
Requirements
- Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Prior clinical experience in the area of expertise.
- ACLS certification, if applicable.
- Basic EKG certification, if applicable.
- CCRN certification.
- TNCC certification.
- PALS certification.
Responsibilities
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
- Attend and participate in meetings and take responsibility for information communicated at meetings.
- Adhere to corporate, regional, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Assist patients, family members, physicians, visitors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Adhere to environmental care standards.
- Adapt care to varied age-specific patient populations.
- Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
- Direct care according to established safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control standards.
