About The Position

Virtua Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Voorhees, New Jersey. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care using outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the healthcare team, the nurse coordinates care and collaborates with colleagues, patients, and patients’ families or significant others while maintaining high standards of professional ethics. Level 3 NICU experience is required. This is an on-site, part-time employee position on a 12-hour night shift, totaling 18 hours per week. The hourly rate is $44.57–$60.44; the actual rate varies based on applicant experience, internal equity, and market alignment.

Requirements

Level 3 NICU experience.
Knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate the efforts of a team of care providers.
Valid New Jersey RN license, presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board.
Stay current with nursing practice through ongoing education, journals, and similar resources.

Responsibilities
