About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, reliable, high-quality one-on-one care to pediatric clients in their homes, with scheduling based on the nurse’s availability. Clients range in age from birth to 21 years old. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts, including 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts, and the opportunity to build relationships with clients and observe their milestones.

Nurses travel to one client’s home on a chosen schedule, follow and carry out doctors’ orders, perform assessments, monitor client conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling without minimums, and support for nurses. Benefits are subject to employment type.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide one-on-one pediatric care and build relationships with clients.
