About The Position

The Registered Nurse supports Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute’s gynecologic oncology practice at the Ballantyne and Pineville locations. The RN partners closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care, working with laboratory, infusion, pharmacy, and clinical teams. The position is part of a collaborative ambulatory nursing team serving patients across southern Charlotte and northern South Carolina.

The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassionate communication, and nursing skills to help create a safe patient environment and a positive experience throughout the continuum of care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with travel between the Ballantyne and Pineville offices.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• A Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year of nursing experience.
