About The Position

Provide, promote, and maintain quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, professional growth, and collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• A valid permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which the candidate resides. Candidates holding an RN license from another Compact state must apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from their state of residence within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within the orientation period.

Nice To Haves

• Additional experience in psychiatric nursing or critical care nursing, including patient assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients as an ongoing process, utilizing physician and psychosocial input, and document in the chart.
• Evaluate care given to patients and redirect the plan as necessary.
• Develop and document an education plan on the written care plan, and alter it as the patient’s condition changes.
• Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently and demonstrate age-specific competency for the population of patients served.
• Perform related duties as required.
