Provide, promote, and maintain quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures through education, standards of practice, professional growth, and collaboration with other multidisciplinary health care providers. The role includes assessing patients, evaluating and adjusting care plans, documenting education plans, and delivering competent, age-specific interventions. Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which the employee resides. If holding an RN license from another Compact state, apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state of residence within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification within the orientation period.

Nice To Haves

• Additional experience in psychiatric nursing or critical care nursing, including patient assessment and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients as an ongoing process, using physician and psychosocial input, and document assessments in the chart.
• Evaluate care provided to patients and redirect the plan as necessary.
• Develop and document an education plan on the written care plan, and alter the educational plan as the patient’s condition changes.
• Perform patient interventions completely and proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competency for the population served.
• Perform related duties as required.
