Registered Nurse (RN) - New Graduate
About The Position
Regency Hospital - Upstate is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Registered Nurse plays a central role in providing compassionate, high-quality treatment. New graduates receive a structured 10–13-week orientation program with a dedicated preceptor. Applicants may apply before obtaining a nursing license but must hold a license by their start date. The position is located inside AnMed in Anderson, South Carolina, and offers full-time 12-hour shifts, with both day and night shifts available. Compensation is $39.38 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of $4,000 for day shifts or $10,000 for night shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
- Valid state RN license required; applicants may apply before licensure but must have a license upon start date.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- Flexibility in scheduling to complete program requirements.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the physician and preceptor, assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the patient’s plan of care.
- Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of patients’ and families’ physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs.
- Interpret assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan, including problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short- and long-term goals, and discharge planning.
- Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating rehabilitation goals.
- Ensure medical-record documents are complete, factual, accurate, and timely.
