About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for per diem shifts at Wayne County's 192-bed county skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025. Nurses carry resident assignments, direct LPNs and CNAs, and serve as charge nurse when assigned, with nursing leadership on site. This W-2 hourly per diem role offers self-scheduled shifts, with no minimum hours. Nurses select available shifts through the BRIDGE App and may work two shifts a month or twenty. Shifts are available on days, evenings, and nights, any day of the week. Standard shifts include eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break; twelve-hour shifts may be available. The hourly rate is $52–$58, with nights and weekends paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the nurse's rate. The role includes reimbursement for New York license renewal and CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, and tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year toward a BSN. A $500 referral bonus is offered for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and professional liability insurance covers each shift. If a confirmed shift is canceled by the facility two hours or less before it starts, the nurse is paid for four hours. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance. A Program Manager is available to help with scheduling and pay questions.
