About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery following intensive care. The hospital provides inpatient post-ICU services, and Registered Nurses deliver compassionate patient care throughout the recovery process. This is a full-time night position scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with three 12-hour shifts per week, a weekend rotation, and rotating holidays. Compensation is $40.12–$54.00 per hour, based on years of experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification is required at hire.
ACLS certification is required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, step down, PCU, trauma, or acute rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Document information accurately and on time using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
