About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses play a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout patients’ recovery. This position is at Select Specialty Hospital Camp Hill and is scheduled for night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three 12-hour shifts per week, with weekend rotation and rotating holidays. Compensation is $40.12–$54.00 per hour, based on years of experience, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, step-down, PCU, trauma, or acute rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
