About The Position
Kidney Associates of Kansas City is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to support physicians and nurse practitioners in managing patient care. This role is suited to an RN passionate about patient-centered care and interested in learning more about managing chronic illness. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. After fully trained, the RN may work remotely one to two days per week. Pre-employment drug screening is required.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Strong passion for patient-centered care.
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Motivated and eager to learn.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with chronic care in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with patients and other healthcare providers by phone.
- Coordinate care and manage patients with renal disease and multiple chronic illnesses.
- Independently assess emergent health issues and communicate concerns to physicians.
- Provide patient education to support disease management and treatment adherence.
