About The Position

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment throughout patients’ recovery. This full-time role is based in Oregon, Ohio, and requires the ability to pick up shifts at both the Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed. The schedule is a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. in 12-hour shifts. Compensation is $38.90 to $52.37 per hour, based on years of experience, with weekend shift differentials. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is offered.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Ability to pick up shifts at both the Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
