About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate, excellent treatment to patients during vulnerable stages of recovery. This full-time position is based in Pensacola, Florida, and works day shifts of 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation is $34.18–$46.00 per hour, based on years of experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for day-shift nurses. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
