About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. This full-time position is based in Pensacola, Florida, with day shifts of 12 hours, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Compensation is $34.18–$46.00 per hour, based on years of experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for day-shift nurses. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Document patient information accurately and on time using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are accurately transcribed and processed.
Demonstrate competence during Rapid Response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
