Registered Nurse (RN) Memory Care - ALL SHIFTS - University Heights Health and Living
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, individualized care to residents in a supportive, collaborative environment. The nurse assesses residents’ health and needs, plans and delivers care, and evaluates care plans in coordination with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role also involves supporting residents and their families throughout their healthcare journey and helping promote positive health outcomes and a healing environment. The posting advertises all shifts at University Heights Health and Living. RNs averaging 40 hours per week may earn up to $6,000 annually in additional income, paid as $500 for each month they meet the hourly goal. Full-time day- and evening-shift RNs are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Hold a current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana.
- Have an associate degree in nursing (ADN).
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring their effectiveness and side effects.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Document resident care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with regulatory standards.
