Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho-Urology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works on 6 North Ortho-Urology, a 36-bed medical-surgical unit caring for adult patients ages 18 to 100+ with diagnoses including general surgery, urology surgery, GI surgery, wound care and management, traumatic injuries, and inpatient medicine. The unit’s team includes RNs, LPNs, and NAs. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication while helping create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is full time, scheduled for three 12-hour shifts each week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a weekend rotation. The listed pay range is $38.20–$57.30.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- More than one year of RN experience is required.
