Per Diem RN Supervisor
About The Position
Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to help meet staffing needs across a variety of shifts, with the greatest need for evening and night coverage, and opportunities for day shifts as well. This role provides leadership, clinical oversight, direction, monitoring, and training for nursing and nursing-related operations throughout the facility during the scheduled shift. The RN Supervisor ensures high-quality, resident-centered care and provides support and guidance to nursing staff. Per diem employees are required to work an average of 8 hours per two-week pay period and a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine
- Knowledge of skilled and long-term care nursing regulations
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
