Per Diem RN Supervisor
About The Position
Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to help meet our staffing needs across a variety of shifts. We have the greatest need for evening and night coverage, with opportunities for day shifts as well. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible per diem work while providing leadership and clinical support to a dedicated team serving Maine’s Veterans and their families. The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor provides leadership, clinical oversight, direction, monitoring, and training for nursing and nursing-related operations throughout the facility during the scheduled shift. The RN Supervisor helps ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and provides support and guidance to nursing staff when needed. Per diem employees are required to work an average of 8 hours per two-week pay period and a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine
- Knowledge of skilled and long-term care nursing regulations
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills

- +$5.00 night differential
- +$2.50 weekend differential
