Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care - Variable Shift
About The Position
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a long-term care setting as part of a collaborative nursing team. The role includes assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions and progress; administering medications and treatments according to care plans; communicating with patients, families, and team members; and supporting quality improvement initiatives and adherence to safety standards. This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week, scheduled as three 12-hour shifts. Shifts are variable: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, with an every-other-weekend rotation. The position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $9,000 for Registered Nurses or $4,500 for Licensed Practical Nurses, subject to a two-year employment commitment and applicable terms and conditions. Munson Healthcare requires employees to be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Employees must also receive an annual flu vaccine or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
Requirements
- Hold a current RN or LPN license in the State of Michigan.
- New and upcoming graduate nurses are accepted.
