About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – OB provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

This position is with the Obstetrics/Gynecology department at Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. It is part-time, with shifts to be provided during each six-week period. Day and night shifts are available. The role requires at least one year of inpatient RN experience. OB/Labor and Delivery or NICU experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• An active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of inpatient RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• OB/Labor and Delivery or NICU experience is strongly preferred.
• Past Nursery experience is preferred.
