About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides employee healthcare services in an industrial meatpacking environment. The role includes first aid and response to employee illnesses and workplace injuries, care under approved standing orders and medical directives, and support for referrals, work restrictions, and return-to-work coordination. The nurse also conducts hearing tests, supports drug and alcohol screening programs, maintains confidential health records and OSHA-required documentation, and contributes to employee wellness, safety, and ergonomic education. Complex concerns are escalated to appropriate clinical staff. No prior related work experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing program, with a nursing diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree.
• Active, unrestricted RN license authorizing practice in the state of employment.
• Applicable education documents, license verification, and any required certifications must be on file before starting.
• Ability to work the stated schedule, including required overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Comfort providing care within an industrial meatpacking environment.

Responsibilities
