About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – LTC Supervisor for a 13-week contract assignment in Amsterdam, New York. The role provides nursing supervision and oversight during assigned shifts in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. The work schedule is five 8-hour shifts, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with availability for at least four shifts per week. The pay rate is $55–$60 per hour. The position requires working every other weekend and being willing to work holidays.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of RN experience in an SNF/LTC setting.
• Active and current New York State RN license.
• Current BLS certification by the AHA.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Must be willing to work holidays.
• Must be able to work at least 4 shifts per week.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing supervision and oversight during assigned shifts.
• Assess residents and coordinate appropriate nursing care.
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes to appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and patient safety standards.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families as needed.
