Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) - Central Staffing Office – Labor & Delivery (L&D) - PRN Days – Region B
About The Position
Texas Health Central Staffing Office is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit, working PRN (as needed) on days. This role is part of an internal staffing department that provides clinical staffing resources for all Texas Health Resources (THR) hospitals. The nurse will primarily work in Region B, which includes locations such as Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, HEB, Arlington Memorial, Heart & Vascular, Alliance, and Azle. Flexibility to float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs is required. The position requires availability for 24 hours per week and is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits. The shift is days, 7 AM - 7 PM, with no self-scheduling. The pay rate is $70.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- 5 Years of experience with three years in the last five years as a Registered Nurse in area of specialty.
- TX RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support maintained every 2 years Upon Hire.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire.
- AWHONN - Advanced Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire or IFM - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Upon Hire.
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program Upon Hire or NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire.
